As many of you might know, my dad is now retired after 25 years at Noblesville Schools. Wow! Can you even imagine working at one place for 25 years? I can't at all, but I think with my dad's passion for education and the various positions he held...it was easy for him.
My dad was also given the Distinguished Hoosier Award by Governor Mitch Daniels. It is an award for Hoosiers that have excelled in their field. To say my dad excelled in his field is an understatement! What an honor! The Distinguished Hoosier is one of the highest awards given by the state of Indiana to its citizens.
Noblesville Schools also had a reception to honor my dad in late May. Here is a cute pic of the Lehmans celebrating dad joining the retirement train! Oh the life of retirees...
While we hoped that day would take some time to relax, drive his Corvette and really do anything he wants to...he already has plans for his next adventure-stay tuned!
