Hadley's first Holidays

Enjoy the photo dump from the holidays!  We had so much fun with Hadley's first Hanukkah and Christmas!  She was such a trooper but so worn out!  I think she is still recovering.  She was spoiled rotten - we all were - by such loving friends and family.  What a fun weekend!

4 month check up

All is well for Hadley! She is growing and will start rice soon. Fun ;)

She is 25.75" long and weighs 15 lb 3 oz. Those are also 95% for height and 75% for weight. She is also 25% for head circumference.

She did great with her shots and is just sluggish and slightly fussy. And extra snuggly ;)

Happy Hanukkah!  We enjoyed Hadley's first Hanukkah on Wed. night.  She lasted through opening one gift.  ha!  She had a busy day and just. couldn't. stay. awake.  We will get her to open the rest soon!

4 months!

Our baby girl is 4 months old!  She is still such a great baby.  She is soooo chatty now, laughs tons, smiles often and is starting to think she doesn't need to sleep during the day.  That last one isn't really okay with us, but we are thankful for 3.75 months of sleepy sleepiness during the day.  The bad part about the not sleeping during the day is that she pretty much crashes at 7:30.  Not bad (i guess) but cutting into our social life a little :) Lucky for us she is still so easy going that we can let her fall asleep at a friends house and she will still sleep through the night after being woken up to drive home.

she actually doesn't seem that much bigger to me looking at her 3 month post vs. this one.  I know she is growing though (at least getting taller!).  We will find out on Friday at her 4 month appointment!

Jolly ol' St. Nick was at the Fashion Mall - and rumor had it he was a good looking Santa!!  Those rumors proved to be true.  And the little bundle of cuteness on his knee isn't bad either :)

These are the silly traditions that I couldn't wait for!  Not just the photo, but putting it in a frame and adding to the frame each year.  For some reason I love uncovering old photos behind the main one in a frame.

Each year Tri Kappa hosts a breakfast with Santa event - so since there were so many new babies recently, it was time for us to go!  Plus Danielle, Owen and her parents; Padge, Evan and Shirley; Court, Sam and Carol and Kelli & Natalie joined in the fun!

Courtney and Grammy picked up almost the exact same outfit at Holiday Mart for Sam & Hadley.  They were so cute!

turkey weekend

we always seem to celebrate wednesday - sunday with friends and family! This post will really be a photo dump. We again hosted thanksgiving at our house, then had friends over for brunch on Friday, then for the Oaken Bucket game on Saturday. We did not even change out of our pajamas on Sunday. ha! much deserved!

What a fun weekend!! I am sure December will be just as fun with lots to do and people to see!

Three Months!

Hadley is three months old!  She is getting so big!  Her face is getting full and round, and she is getting too tall for some of her "jam jams" (pajamas).  But, she still seems so tiny when she curls her legs up and cuddles up to us. 

She is getting much stronger with her head - so strong that it is hard for us to do her stretches with her. She has to do neck stretches daily to help her to even out the muscles so she will stop favoring her right side.  It's way fun :) She hates it!  But, it can only get easier with time, right? 

We survived my going back to work, she is having tons of fun with Grammy, we are searching still for an in-home or private nanny and staying busy as always!

this picture cracks. me. up.  I was even giving her the support of the pillow and she is mad.  As part of her stretches we have to pull her hands out in front of her during tummy time so she has to extend her neck (vs. having them at her sides like a push up).  I am assuming I will be given this look many times throughout her life - and I hope I can laugh each time!
