We celebrated our First Anniversary this weekend with a trip to Bloomington! We were able to squeeze in almost everything we love about Bloomington in about one and a half days.
We started at Olivery Winery with some wine tasting and a picnic. Despite the rain, it was great! We were able to stay dry under the porch at a cute table overlooking the grounds. We celebrated with a bottle of their Chardonel -awesome! We highly recommend it!
Then, onto check in at the Grant Street Inn. It was fun to stay at the B&B where we stayed on our wedding night. The actual room was booked, but we were in the cottage which was super cute.
We walked to Grazie, where we had our rehearsal dinner, and enjoy a big italian dinner. And, then of course onto Nicks! This is also where we went after our rehearsal dinner. We weren't really trying to recreate the wedding weekend-those are just our fav places !
It was quite entertaining to sit at the bar for a few hours and watch people order, gossip, not tip the bartenders (more than you want to know!). David of course even chatted with a few. Then we topped the night off with cheesy bread from Mad Mushroom-yay! A perfect day!
Sunday was spent walking around campus, shopping and then lunch at Upland before heading home. What a great anniversary weekend. I can't wait to spend each anniversary in Btown!
