weekend photo dump

we enjoyed a nice long weekend with lots of Hadley time!  It was perfect.  We had swim lessons Thursday evening, cooked out Friday evening, tested out the bike trailer, enjoyed the farmer's market, had a baby & adult playdate at the Mayers, swam with the Morton boys and tore the toys all day Monday. Here are a few photos from the weekend!

Baby girl is 9 months old and we hit up the dr office today!

Our big girl continues to grow! We are excited for some play time this weekend with the new bike trailer and kiddie pool.

It's looking like she might be walking before her first birthday!

Mother's Day

I could get all mushy about what it means I me to even be able to celebrate this day. But I won't. Just know that nothing means more.

We have had the craziest May and a real test to how we can successfully manage our lives, work events and travel and Hadley.

The week leading up to mothers day found David out of town, me scrambling to put an event together on Friday and Hadley spending lots of time with Grammy. Thankfully Grammy could pick up hads at the sitter's and even had an overnight so I could work until 1 am. Yes, 1 am. Very thankful to have them close and retired ;)

Friday was the Man & Woman of the Year grand finale, Saturday was Cease & Doug's wedding and Sunday was Mother's day Phew!

The Local

Is one of my fav places. Hands down. I want it to be our "Cheers" and I suggest it every time we consider going out to dinner.

Hadley loves it too! They are super kid friendly which is great. Last night's waitress even wowed Hads with bubbles.

just keep swimming

we started swim lessons tonight!  I don't know if the lessons really include swimming, it's more like don't-sink lessons....but we're off to a great start!  The class had about 8 kiddos - and about half girls and half boys.  One boy could walk, and one girl was only 6 months old.  Everyone else seemed to be in the middle. 

Hads did super considering it is in the evening, she is tired from a long day, probably hungry and would rather not be working so hard.  She didn't smile.  Not a single smirk.  But, she didn't cry either!

I was the only one who went tonight so I wasn't able to get any action shots, but here are a few from before and after.   Thanks for the cute suit Grammy!
