Love Is In The Air!

We are dropping like flies...Laura and Chad are engaged!! So we had to get together, and even better-Kim was in town!! Lots of wedding talk of course! Congratulations to the happy couple.

6 Months...and counting....

Yes, that is right...6 months until the big day! It is fitting that we hit the new year, time will speed up and we hit our 6 month mark within weeks! So much to do, so little time.

David and I couldn't be happier about the big day in Bloomington and a weekend full of friends and family. And, in our favorite town none the less :)

Now, if only we could finalize the song list, menu, linens, favors, ceremony, bridesmaid dresses, tuxes, schedule, photographers list...ok I am going to stop-that list could go on and on! But you get it-we have lots to do!

New Year-New Goals

Happy New Year everyone! 2008 will be a big year with the wedding, friend's weddings and fun times of course. But some new goals have cropped up and are sure to make 2008 memorable.

The biggest being...The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer!!

My sister, Erin, and my friend Julie and I have created a team and will raise more than $1,800 each for our walk. Our team will be walking on May 17-18 in beautiful Boston!

Not only is this a great cause that affects everyone, Erin and I are particularly proud to walk in celebration of our Grandma Johnson, a survivor!

Happy Birthday (a little late)

Yikes! 26 came so quick! And I am now saying thanks, but my birthday was back on Dec. 28. A day I will share from now on with my future sister-in-law Jaime!

My birthday was great spent with friends out at Scotty's for dinner and drinks. Thanks to everyone for coming out! My birthday weekend continued with the best birthday tradition ever-the Indy Auto Show and Old Spaghetti Factory!! My birthday wouldn't be the same without dinner at OSF, a tradition of probably 20 years now! I love it and keep dragging my poor parents (and now David) there every year. Last year we did miss it because of being in Boston-and I did get food poisoning on my 25th...so it was nice to be back in the routine!
