it's the real camera's fault

I use the blogger app on my phone all the time.  But, I've actually been using the "real" camera more so that involves way too many steps to be a timely blogger!  A little late...but still adorable....

Brady at 5 months.
If you're paying attention, you might have already realized that I am posting his 5 month pics on his 6th month birthday.  sorry 2nd baby :)

aww mommy, i will always love you!

hmmm, this sticker is delish!

go Sox!

begging for daddy to take him to a game

We celebrated Thanksgiving by hosting both of our families yet again this year. Note to self- get a smaller turkey.  These turkeys did not eat enough!  We had a great day and evening eating, drinking, laughing with the toddlers and playing games.

h a double-l o, w double-e n spells halloween

better late than never (the mantra with most of my posts).

We invited the fam over, put chili in the crock pots again and enjoyed Halloween through the eyes of a two-year old.  This year was way more fun than last and it will only get better! I think Hadley's highlight was saying trick-or-treat and thank you at each house.  And, walking around with Parker and Chachi of course.

There is no family picture and no picture of our rabbit and carrot together.  awesome.  but, enjoy these instead!

happy memorial day

We've had a fun-filled weekend so far...and I even enjoyed Thursday and Friday off from work! I ran one million errands and totally wore myself out (can you tell by this pic from Friday night?)

This is our fam, with me at 37 weeks.  Getting close!

Easter Weekend

I have some other blog catching up to do (trip to NC, Hadley is 19 months, we are 29 weeks pregnant, etc. etc.) but since the photos from this weekend were at my finger tips...I am posting!

We started our weekend with the neighborhood egg hunt.  Hads was dressed for the occasion - clearly!  She is loving her sunglasses right now!

Her age group is released - holding daddy's hand

getting the hang of it!

Then off to Conner Prairie for opening week! We are excited about this membership this year and can't wait to take her often!
Maybe the baby goat wants to wear her sunglasses too?  Our first trip to Conner Prairie with lots of new baby animals this weekend!

Sunday started with early (8:30!) church service and then a quiet brunch at home . We did a small egg hunt for Hads indoors.  And she even ate egg casserole!  Now she is snoozing after her busy morning.
Family pic

lots of Easter goodies - spoiled as usual.  And several new books about going potty like a big girl.  hint hint, Hadley!

You can view all of the pictures here.

Hadley loves eggs.  We have a set to help with colors and the alphabet that we have been playing with for over a month now.  So, imagine her amazement when we stopped by Hobby Lobby last week to get some to hide and hunt.  EGGS EGGS EGGS! The aisle was her heaven!  So, needless to say she was a rockstar at egg hunts!

Happy Easter!

Happy New Year!

we spent new year's eve very low key (of course we did-we have a toddler and are pregnant!)

I picked Hads up early from school and we had a IU jersey photo shoot!  She proudly wears Jordi Hulls' number!

Snacks in my new chair!

staying up late to watch the game!

we celebrated the new year with one of our fav traditions of patachou brunch!  Then after a good nap (by Hads and mommy!) we ventured outside to the snow.  Apparently her snow boots are too small so we resorted to other boots and a sled ride instead of actually "playing" in the snow.

a little stiff in the snow suit but excited!  Can't you tell??

arms out.  this is the most excitement we saw the entire time!

first sledding and snow adventure for Hads!

Daddy taught me to eat the snow...yummy!!

a special visitor from espana!!  play time with KK

more special visitors tonight!

we love Hads!!

We are gearing up for lots of Mommy & Hadley time while David travels a lot in January.  We are excited for all 2013 will have in store for us!
